The Mirror Principle…
Namaste Dear Ones,
As I hope you are aware by now, my passion is assisting others in removing the obstacles that get in the way of a life filled with JOY- which I firmly believe is our birthright as children of the Divine; bar none!
I truly feel (as do many of the world religions, spiritual paths and major schools of psychology) that life is all about projection. Projection is where a person subconsciously denies his or her own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, usually to other people. Simply put, the projection screen in a movie theater can only show you what is in the projector; that means we can only see what we have inside of ourselves.
For years now I have facilitated workshops that aim to help people heal their painful pasts and the workshop title “The Mirror Principle” keeps coming up. This workshop would focus on owning/figuring out the the things we are projecting onto other people and situations- and only that- and then help people process those things so they can either re-perceive them, integrate those unowned aspects or learn to let them go.
I will be working on this workshop, and possibly a book, in the very near future because I feel this has great power. If we all did this, we could use what we see in our daily lives as an opportunity to heal everything in our lives! What a wonderful thing- except that also means taking 100% responsibilities for our experiences because they are all reflections of us.
